Welcome to the
Heart of Florida
Walk to Emmaus

Empowering leaders to be the hands and feet of Christ.

Agape

AGAPE – the term for physical gifts given to represent the unconditional love of Christ – is a special component of the Walk to Emmaus. Agape gifts are given by Fourth Day members from churches or reunion groups.

First Banner

When making agape, our general guideline (assuming a full roster of pilgrims) is:

  • Team and Pilgrims: 90
  • Pilgrims: 42
  • Conference Room: 64
  • Bed for Pilgrims, Table Leaders, and Assistant Table Leaders: 56

Bring your completed agape to the Gathering prior to each Walk or Flight. Or contact our Agape Chair to make further arrangements. Thank you for your message of love to our pilgrims!

Snacks

SNACKS – a fun, and frequent, element of the Walks are the snacks. Local communities are encouraged to donate these edible forms of agape. Please contact our Snack Chair for information about what is needed and how to get it to the weekends.

“Now that same day two of them were going to a village called Emmaus, about seven miles from Jerusalem. They were talking with each other about everything that had happened. As they talked and discussed these things with each other, Jesus himself came up and walked along with them;”
